If you found this page, then you already know Ive had this little fucker since I was 11-ish. It’s. It’s a dra. a dragon. Shut up.

Genuinely I forgot to give it a gender. I know this sounds like a Tumblr joke but Im deadly serious. Making it a girl would make it too similar to myself and I want a little emotional distance from a drawing. Making it a boy would make it too different to represent me. So it’s neither now. For some reason I assumed that Id eventually figure out whether I wanted them to be one or the other, but… here we are, still genderless. Sorta. They’re, like, a weird boy-girl thing. Weirder still because Im cis. I have put thought into this and Im 100% a girl, and my only persona ever is 100% something else. Not sure how that happens.

I was a little embarrassed to put this on a more accessible page, so, here. Please note that some of this was drawn when I was 14. I still don’t know what colour eyes and hair she should have. He does have glasses now, like me. And some body markings. We’ve come a long way from ‘can’t even be the same gender as me.’
